To be eligible for the Ogabassey Device Swap Program, please ensure the following:
- Your device is in good working condition, and free from any major physical damage.
- You have a receipt of purchase from a verifiable store or an affidavit declaring ownership of the device
Step 1: Contact Ogabassey
To initiate the swap. You’d need to reach out to us either physically or online.
- Physical Swap
You can visit any of our physical locations for your device to be evaluated. An offer will be given to you on the spot. If agreed, we will proceed to swap your device.
- Online Swap
- Open our website or app, navigate to the swap section and follow the prompts to get an estimate.
- Send a message to any of our social media channels and provide details to get an estimate for the swap
Step 2 – Provide Device Information
You will be required to provide the following information:
- Your name and contact details.
- The make and model of your current device.
- The reason for the swap (e.g., upgrade, change of preference).
- Pictures of Your Device
To accurately determine the swap value and prevent any disagreements regarding the state of your item, Please capture well-lit, clear, and preferably reflection-free images highlighting the buttons and ports and follow these guidelines when taking pictures:
Photos of smartphones and tablets must show:
- The device with the screen turned on
- The device with the screen turned off
- Back of the device
- Left side
- Right side
- Top side
- Bottom side
Photos of personal computers must show:
- Screen turned on
- Screen turned off
- The back case of the computer
- Left side (slightly open)
- Right side (slightly open)

Photos of smartwatches must show:
- The front screen turned on

- The section between the strap and the top screen

- Take a screenshot of the battery health and share
- Highlight Any Damage: If applicable, take close-ups of any visible damage or wear.
- Upload these images through our online swap portal or share them with our in-store team to advance to the next step of your device swap journey at Ogabassey.
Step 3: Device Assessment
Once we have the necessary information, Your device will undergo a swift assessment to check for any physical damage or issues that may affect its trade-in value. This assessment ensures a fair exchange process. For online swaps, our digital tool will guide you through a preliminary assessment.
Step 4: Choose Your New Device
Browse our selection of available devices and choose the one that best suits your needs. You can explore our website or visit any of our social media channels to make your selection
Step 5: Confirm Swap
Our customer support team will provide you with a quote for the swap based on the assessed value of your current device and the cost of the new device. If you agree to the terms, we will proceed with the swap.
Step 6: Swap Location
- If you prefer to complete the swap at one of our physical locations, you can visit the nearest Ogabassey store with your current device and finalize the exchange in person. Our staff will assist you with the process.
- If you prefer to send us the device. You can use any logistics service to transport it from your location to any of our locations. Once received, we will communicate the final cost. Kindly ensure you pack your item according to our instructions and ship it to us.
Ensure to Back Up and/or transfer your data from your device if you do not want us to transfer your data to your new device.
Step 8: Receive Your New Device
Upon approval of the swap, we will arrange for the delivery of your new device to your preferred address. Our team will also provide instructions for safe packaging and returning your old device if necessary.
